We are excited to announce that an active JWHA member has pledged a $25,000 match to enhance the long-term financial stability of our beloved organization. While members are supporting our immediate needs, we are reaching out to you to consider contributing to this vital capital campaign to secure the future of JWHA.
In light of recent changes in the ownership of historic assets, some members have expressed concerns about potential impacts on JWHA’s financial support. This campaign is designed to ensure the long-term viability of our organization.
Our goal is to raise $50,000, with the first $25,000 already pledged. We invite you to help us unlock this matching gift. Contributions will be added to the existing $200,000 JWHA Endowment Fund, the principal of which will be preserved in perpetuity. The additional $50,000 is projected to generate approximately $2,500 annually, providing a new source of revenue for our future budgets alongside membership fees and other income. The Board will determine how these additional funds will be allocated in each annual budget.
While this campaign won’t eliminate all future funding challenges, it will be a significant step toward alleviating financial pressure in the years to come.
We want to emphasize that this campaign is not intended to replace or diminish current contributions, for which we are incredibly grateful. Instead, it aims to strengthen our financial foundation for future years. Please consider supporting this campaign to help us secure the full $25,000 match.
